Submission of candidacy

Candidates can get ask to get notified for positions that interest them by discipline or per Faculty; they receive a notification e-mail by the system as soon as such positions are announced.

During the submission of each candidacy, a snapshot of the candidate’s current profile will be saved, in accordance with the information they have inserted into the Information System.

Furthermore, the candidate will be able to submit a Self Evaluation Report with reference to a specific position, at least 5 days before the Electors convocation date. Electors, evaluating committee as well as the Institution’s Administrator and Secretary will be notified when an upload of the kind is made.

The candidate must send in the original supporting documents for their  file only if elected for a specific position, so that examination of legality is conducted by the Institution’s Rector.

The candidate will be able to withdraw their candidacy for the specific position until the day before the Electors convocation date for the election of the most appropriate candidate for the specific position.

Candidates can be notified for positions of specific disciplines, posted by selected Faculties; they receive a notification e-mail by the information system as soon as positions for which they have declared that they want to be informed are announced.

During the submission of each candidacy, a snapshot of the candidate's current profile is saved, based on the information they have already posted on the Information System. Please note that in order to be able to apply for a position, the candidate must have uploaded at least one file in each of the following fields of the “Profile” tab:

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Diplomas or Foreign diplomas
  • Publications 
  • ID or passport.

Candidates can also submit a Statement of opposition to electors, for each position, at least three days before the electors meeting. The members of the electoral committee, the three-member evaluation committee, as well as the Organization Manager and the Secretariat of the specific Department are notified through the information system when a Statement of opposition to electors is posted by a candidate.

Until the eve of the meeting of the electoral committee to elect the most suitable candidate for the specific position, candidates are allowed to submit additional documents.

Candidate will have to submit the original documents - supporting documents of their file, only if they are elected to a specific position, so that an examination of legality can be carried out by the Rector.

Candidates can withdraw their candidacy for position at any time until the eve of the meeting of the electoral committee to elect the most suitable candidate for the specific position.
